4DV-SYSTEM DESIGNER is a software from the 4DV-SIM suite allowing the user to model and integrate resources through the use of dedicated interfaces and functions. This tool allows you to import your own 3D models, model and configure your controllable systems, sensors and 3D environments, in complete autonomy and confidentiality.

Your resources are then available for building your scenarios in 4DV-EDITOR and for use in simulation in 4DV-SIMULATOR.

4DV-SYSTEM DESIGNER is a software from the 4DV-SIM suite allowing the user to model and integrate resources through the use of dedicated interfaces and functions. This tool allows you to import your own 3D models, model and configure your controllable systems, sensors and 3D environments, in complete autonomy and confidentiality.

Your resources are then available for building your scenarios in 4DV-EDITOR and for use in simulation in 4DV-SIMULATOR.

Assistance for modeling and 3D resources integration

Several editing functions are available: definition of visual appearance, physical geometry of the system, mechanical behavior, visual programming.

Your 3D models can be issued from various standard formats resulting from 3D modeling in computer graphics or CAD. Therefore you have the ability to use new models and also to reuse models already in your possession.

You accurately define the visual behavior, such as the color of geometric shapes, their visual aspects, the positioning of controllable point lights (eg vehicle headlights).

Physical 3D modeling is also user-defined, and reuse existing models that you can adapt, simplify, or create entirely.

The interface of 4DV-SYSTEM DESIGNER is organized around the use of several views: a tree view allowing to explore and organize the components of a system, a 3D view allowing to visualize the position of the components, a graph view for logic blocks allowing the components to be interconnected to program visually their dynamic behavior, a view associated with the definition of coordinates and physical characteristics of the components, and finally a view for controlling the configuration of the system.

It is thus possible to focus attention on the advanced configuration of resources.
